Raiders Season 2009/2010 season
The Raiders started the season on a high, they kicked off the campaign by winning comfortably in most games leading up to the end of October. After playing around 12 games The Raiders lost for the first team that season to the hands of Cresswell wanderers.
Despite their first defeat of the season Raiders led on to win most of the games along with a few draws in the lead up to Christmas, playing some tremendous football with confidence in every game.
After the Christmas break the Raiders didn’t start back into a full match again until early February due to the bad weather conditions.
The Raiders were now seeded in the top division and soon found out that the easy wins that they had been used, were now to be a little more difficult this time around against tougher opposition. However the raiders had grown stronger and was playing with confidence and skill and soon found themselves beating our local rivals pelsall Villa, and other top teams including Shire Oak Villains, Cresswell, Silverdale & Brewood along the way.
