After only 1 min Hexis scored their first goal of the day with a swift move out to the right James W, hit the ball and it looped high over the keeper and landed in the far left hand top corner - a brilliant goal! Aldridge then got an equalizer back. Then another goal from Aldridge made the Hexis boys realize they needed to defend better and this was what they did. Battling in the midfield, defending well, especially Luke W, with diving headers, slide tackles and generally stopping the Aldridge "Giants" who were nearly 2 feet taller than Luke getting passed. A movement of 1 touch and 2 touch football soon landede the Hexis squad with another goal from Will! The top of the league team did not know what had hit them and they were doing all they could to contain the Hexis boys.

After a couple of shoulder injuries from playing against a very physical Aldridge team, several changes and tiredness resulted in several further goals in the second half.


A great performance from all the squad, probably their best to date! MMotM was Alex, PMotM was Jake. A great Captains performance from Ryan. Superb defending performance from Luke which casued all the parents to chear him on!
